2025 BMW X3 price and specs
BMW Australia has confirmed the pricing and standard specification of the fourth-generation X3 mid-size SUV ahead of its local launch in early 2025.
There will only be two petrol-powered BMW X3 variants offered at launch – the 20 xDrive and M50 xDrive – with both featuring a 48V mild-hybrid system and all-wheel drive.
Gone are the plug-in hybrid and diesel options from the local lineup, though both will continue to be offered in other markets.
Pricing for the 2025 BMW X3 range starts at $84,500 before on-roads for the 20 xDrive, which is up $2800 over the outgoing sDrive20i.
The M50 xDrive extends to $126,900 before on-roads, a $100 increase over the M40i xDrive it replaces.
The new BMW X3 is longer between the bumpers, wider and shorter to the top of its roof than the outgoing model. All Australian-specification models also receive standard adaptive suspension.
Other standard inclusions on all Australian X3s are adaptive LED headlights and an Iconic Glow illuminated double kidney grille.
Inside, the X3 has had an overhaul and now features a curved display which houses a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system running BMW’s Android-based Operating System 9.
X3 M50 xDrive
Australian-bound versions of the fourth-generation BMW X3 will be produced at the BMW Group Plant Spartanburg in the USA.
Addition production is planned at BMW Group Plat Rosslyn in South Africa starting in 2025.
